Growing up in Peoria Illinois , I was privileged to have some of the best art instructors from an early age. Encouraged to seek out and experiment with different mediums and styles . Drawing was the preferred medium for the early part of my life , which gave me a great foundation for the latter intricate painting style that I have now.

Heavily influenced by the cityscape paintings of an Illinois State art student , Ellen Cyboran, I set out to create my own . After finishing and selling my first painting , I knew that I had found my niche .

Most of my adult life has been spent raising a family , with brief spells in the studio creating more work .
