As I've gotten the opportunity to travel more the subject matter is vast. I try to bring the viewer into a very pedestrian look at the subject. These are hard to achieve with photography, but by combining images and fixing certain perspective problems that happen with a single lens my paintings try to capture what most people just walk by. The world is complicated and I enjoy the wonder of seeing stopped parts of it. Although these are from random cities that I have painted , there is a method to the madness I try to have site specific paintings for shows that attend so this years focus will be on Des Moines and Madison
